BETINA
Betina is an Interior Architecture and Design graduate with years of experience in design and project management for high-end properties and luxury bathrooms in London. She has worked on both residential and commercial projects, going through every stage of the process from feasibility, concept design and development, technical plans, elevations and renders, FF&E to final touches. Her love for Interiors started from young age. She believes that our homes play a major part in our lives and should be considered as a lifestyle mirror rather than simply a place we live in.
Betina gets her inspiration from the history of interiors and exploring heritage sites. Being able to combine different styles and colours in order to create that dream space is something she takes pride in. She pays great attention to the small details as they are the once that make the biggest difference.
If she can describe her personal home style, it would be a mixture of contemporary and traditional. She loves the character a panelling can add, combined with some contemporary furniture and small touches. Mixing neutral and pastel colours, and adding a dark contrast while keeping it simple and clean is how she imagines her future home style.
Betina values the Client + Designer relationship as it is both personal and professional, and loves digging a bit deeper into her clients lifestyle and visions in order to create the perfect space for them.

She was also very quick, coming up with the first designs in 2 days and finishing everything within a week. She also answered all of my follow up questions. The shopping list at the end was just what I needed.

“I have collaborated with James on the refurbishment project of my new flat. James and his team are experienced, well organised and offer professional service with a reasonable price. All the furnitures and materials arrived in timely manner while I was away May-August. The refurbishment process has minor delay due to management paper work, James handle them quite well nevertheless.
James introduced me to my contractor John, who’s the one carry out on-site works. John handle all the details with care and finish the the project with high quality. I will be happy to work collaborate with John as my long-term contractor.

“Very happy with the process and end result!I recently bought a house and was looking to decorate and furnish my oddly shaped open plan living/dining room/kitchen. My designer Betina from Akiva was a great help from start to finish, taking the time to understand my style preferences and helping bring together my loosely related ideas. The process was iterative and I am very pleased with the final design and furniture list. I particularly appreciated Betina’s honesty where she thought a suggestion might not work best and her helpful counter- suggestions that I would not have thought of myself (for instance to add board and batten paneling to create a completely seamless look for my new under stairs storage / the adjacent wall, which has now turned into a fantastic feature).I also appreciated that both Betina and James were very much on top of things, driving the process forward but patient when I was taking a while to decide or changed my mind on certain items.Would definitely recommend and thought the price was very reasonable too.”

Her design on my bespoke walk-in wardrobe is perfect and totally suit my needs and user friendly. After I made my order via Akiva, I decided that 2 pieces of furniture are not required.
