DETAILS

DESIGN BRIEF

Our design brief for the renovation works included: creating a design for a more open and modern bathroom concept, sourcing premium fittings and linking our client with excellent local fitters to deliver to the specifications.

Our design service on this project was comprehensive from coordination to procurement and inclusive of installation to a high standard.

DESIGN PROCESS

Part of our service promise is simple and hassle-free design packages. From Design Consulting to Open Plan set packages, we ensure every renovation project is convenient and easy for our clients. There’s no time needed off work or waiting on-site for deliveries to arrive.

We know how often renovation projects can run overtime or over budget, it’s because of this that we offer a design coordination package after the completion of every concept and just before construction starts. It puts your designer in communication with your choice of contractor, so we can keep track of all the fine details and ensure smooth runnings.

Because of our intuitive collaboration tools, everything is tracked via our virtual portal and our client can keep in contact regularly with contractors and monitor progress updates in near real-time.

COVID-19 did present some challenges. With the world running on skeleton crews, some deliveries did take longer than normal, but we were able to track and advise our client at every stage. Since we handled the procurement, we ensured every order was correct and arrived intact, ready for installation. This meant our client was able to leave the hassle and supplier management to us and focus on their other obligations, knowing the procurement was in safe hands.

Pre Renovation

Tired old fashion family bathroom with exposed pipes and bulky inefficient storage

Bicolour Contemporary Bathroom

For the basin and toilet, we wanted to open up space with a sleek freestanding vanity unit from LUSSO Stone and a suspended luxury toilet from Villeroy and Boch.

Taps

A beautiful Vellamo Twist Matt Black 3 Hole Wall Mounted Tap allowed the basin more freedom and movement in the space by making use of the free wall under the vanity mirror. Wherever possible, utilities were hidden for cleaner lines.

Storage

The Laufen Base Reduced Depth Tall Cabinet with Side Panels provided for expansive storage options without adding clutter to the natural lines in the space.

The inclusion of a Britton Bathrooms Slotted Basin Waste in Matt Black ties in smoothly with the basin taps for a cohesive and bicolour design feel.

Tones

By mixing tones of grey, neutral, black and white in the space, the bathroom is lighter and brighter than before with a greater illusion of openness.

This completely remodelled space provides a feeling of modern tranquillity that transitions into the other areas of the home naturally. Use of high-end fittings adds value and a luxury feel to what was once a basic and utilitarian room.

Gone are the dusky blues and cluttered storage nooks. The result is a gorgeous and clean-looking bathroom that oozes sophistication and high-spec design.

Alcoves

Complete with clever built-in storage, this shower and bath combo is clean, light and bright.

The original bath & shower combo was soulless with no storage, grotty shower curtain and bog-standard fittings.

We updated it with a stunning, glass Inspire 2 Panel OutSwing Bath Screen from Kudos and smart in-built storage for bath products.

Tiles

We framed the Villeroy & Boch O.Novo Solo Rectangular Bath with Domus’s stunning Pietre 41 Diagonal tiles for a sleek, modern finish that meshes perfectly with the Pietre 41 Natural tiles that comprise the bath cabinet’s feature wall.

Perhaps most dramatic is the addition of the Hansgrohe Raindance S Showerpipe 240 1Jet with Thermostatic Bath Mixer. It adds the perfect chrome, customisable jet and high-standard finish needed to improve the bathing experience for our client.

The mix of colours, modern fittings and clean-lined bath fully completed the space’s transformation into a contemporary dream.

This expertly-finished project added real value and luxury to this North London property with its clean lines and black matte accents.

By providing smart, hidden storage; the space became less cluttered. The chevron grey tiles, sleek freestanding vanity unit and suspended furniture really opened up the space fully. Lastly, the high-end fittings provided real added value to the property for years to come.
