History of the building
Built in 1885, Hyde Park Mansions introduced a new kind of city living to Marylebone: porter-serviced, red-brick apartments that gave upwardly mobile Victorians townhouse stature without the upkeep. Deep bands of white stone cut through the terracotta façade, framing bay windows, copper-capped turrets and cleverly placed light-wells that still flood every flat with daylight. Nearly 140 years later, the five-storey block remains a benchmark of solid engineering and understated grandeur in central London.

To transform this newly purchased space into a welcoming and distinctly personal home, reflecting our clients taste, lifestyle, and personality. They sought an elegant, comfortable atmosphere that seamlessly combined contemporary design with classic detailing. It was essential to create a harmonious environment that would feel luxurious yet intimate, sophisticated yet warmly inviting.
Our Interior Design approach
For this project we deployed our Premium Makeover package, complete with full 3-D renders for every key room and a block of consultancy hours dedicated solely to re-energising the hallway. The immersive visuals allowed the client to sign off finishes and layouts from overseas with total confidence before a single purchase was made.
Design-wise we layered tailor-made furnishings, tactile fabrics and a palette of soft neutrals to create a calm backbone for daily living. Curated artwork and statement accessories inject personality, while an eye-catching black fireplace and sculptural furniture pieces deliver moments of drama. By maximising natural light and refining the apartment’s circulation, we ensured each space feels effortlessly connected—stylish yet welcoming, timeless yet contemporary, and unmistakably her own the instant she walks through the door.
